WANTED: The U.S. House Seats Of The 15 Republi-crats That Voted For CAFTA!
Rogues' Gallery / Wall-of-Shame
This Rogues' Gallery represents those Democratic members of the United States Congress who have indicated, by their own votes, their willingness to betray Democratic principals, and the greater good of the majority of working-class American citizens.
This Gallery has been constructed to make available, for easy and quick reference, a reminder (come election time) of who is really a "Republicrat" traitor to the Democratic Party, and to working-class Americans everywhere. The political offices of those who have chosen to break-ranks and defect to the dark-side should be recaptured for occupation by a true Democrat moving forward. This Gallery has been added to the right sidebar of BloggerRadio.com --------------------------------------------------------------->
To that end, BloggerRadio suggests that no contributions be made to these whores by anyone other than the corporate pimps they have already been servicing. If these Republicrats are going to take Democratic registrations for granted, it's time to send 'em a little surprise message. If this set of clowns is going to betray the Party (9 of them over, and over again), and no primary opposition provides a Democratic choice for their replacement in '06, I recommend voting for their Republican opposition; at least that way you know what you're gettin'!
The photo gallery has been prefaced by a list of posts by & about David Sirota, which seek to explain how the game is played by Republicans, and why Democrats had better soon LEARN the rules of the game of politics, lest they remain in the minority forever. Sirota may have his faults, but so far, being wrong hasn't been one of them:
Calling out the 15 Democrats who sold out the party on CAFTA:
Democrats cry and whine when they get called out for voting for the bankruptcy bill:
My career toiling in the day-to-day battles with Republicans:
My work on winning campaigns:
Dems still shun a discussion about loyalty/accountability:

If you would like to contact these 15 Republi-crats (above), to express your displeasure with their vote on CAFTA, and their defection to the dark-side, their abandonment of the American middle-class, here are links to help you, and you can find these same links down the left sidebar of BloggerRadio under the heading: "List Data Files":
http://bloggerradio.typepad.com/da/DataFiles/CAFTA.txt
http://bloggerradio.typepad.com/da/DataFiles/CAFTA.csv
http://bloggerradio.typepad.com/da/DataFiles/CAFTA.xls
Those files include at least partial House committee membership for each of the 15 scoundrels. So, if nothing else, Read This, then contact Nancy Pelosi and suggest that the 15 be removed from committee assignments. She's having that meeting TONIGHT so get on the stick!
The closeness of last evening's vote, in the face of opposing, powerful, and well-financed lobbying forces, is due in part to the organizing efforts of several groups, here are links to two of 'em: Change To Win Labor Movement and Public Citizen's Global Trade Watch

This all could be a sign of needed campaign finance reform. It looks to me that many of these members are looking to "bring home the bacon" to their area. The House Republicans are stacking the docket with their own bills, the only way to get your bill out of committee is to promise votes on other bills. Backscratching.
If these 15 (and we know there are others) are so beholden to the process of backscratching, it puts them up against voting against their consitiuency in order to accomplish anything. Failing to bring home the legislative bacon, means they have to turn to corporations\orgs for donations in order to win re-election. Citibank is waiting in the wings. It leaves "The People" out in the cold, or having to line up with other groups to have a voice.
...just thoughts.
DA responds: I guess it is a tricky balance, and I have to WONDER if the minority leadership provides sufficient "management" of the situation, PRIOR to the vote. I know in the current example Pelosi is rattling her saber about committee assignments and such AFTER-the-fact. But, for all I know that could be largely for show, more than go. There SHOULD at least be a legal way for the minority leadership to counter the pork bribes coming from the majority, OR make the pork bribes illegal, and no-more.
